With nearly a decade of experience as a former educator, I understand the challenges and the potential within the school system. I am committed to bringing thoughtful leadership, strategic thinking, and a collaborative spirit to the School Board—always with the best interest of students, families, and teachers in mind.
I believe that a grounded, conservative voice on the Board can help move forward important conversations around improving student attendance, addressing disciplinary concerns, recruiting and retaining excellent teachers, strengthening community communication, and providing clear, effective oversight of school leadership.
Our children are the heart of Warren County’s future. Together, we can ensure that every student has access to a high-quality education that prepares them to thrive, reach their goals, and give back to the community.

Over the last year, Ashlyn has taken a deep dive into the world of Warren County Public Schools. She’s attended numerous School Board meetings and spent many hours reviewing past recordings to better understand the decisions and discussions shaping our schools. She has listened carefully and sees where the schools need to improve.
With ten years of experience in education, Ashlyn brings a practical understanding of classroom dynamics, student needs, and school operations. But more importantly, she brings a fresh set of eyes—ready to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and seek better outcomes for the students and families. If elected, Ashlyn will advocate for open, transparent communication and collaboration.
Ashley promises to be accessible, responsive, and a strong advocate for Warren County families. She will work hard to make Warren County Public Schools the best they can be—and she’ll do it without falling into the one-size-fits-all approaches we’ve seen in other districts. We don’t need to be the next Fairfax or Loudoun. We need to be the best version of Warren County.
It’s time for real work, honest conversations, and a School Board that’s ready to listen, lead, and do what’s right on behalf of the voters, the students, and the WCPS faculty and staff.
Transparency & Accountability
Ashlyn will collaborate with the other members of the School Board to create open lines of communication—especially through regular, confidential communications with parents, teachers, and staff members—to ensure every voice in our community is heard and respected.
Supporting Our Teachers
Ashlyn will help develop meaningful strategies to recruit and retain top talent—so important for our students’ success in school— and provide teachers with regular opportunities to share feedback, voice concerns, and feel supported.
Raising Expectations
We should expect great things from our students, including behaving according to policies. Ashlyn will support efforts to implement our disciplinary policies consistently, and promote a respectful, safe learning environment that values academic excellence and high achievement for all students.
