As a former educator with nearly a decade of classroom experience, I bring proven insight into the heart of our schools—where students learn, grow, and thrive. I am committed to delivering thoughtful leadership, practical solutions, and a collaborative spirit to the School Board—always with the best interest of students, families, and teachers in mind.
As a grounded conservative, I’ll drive solutions to boost student attendance, enforce consistent discipline, recruit and retain top teachers with competitive support, enhance community communication, and ensure strong, transparent oversight of school leadership.
Our children are the heart of Warren County’s future. Together, we can ensure that every student has access to a high-quality education that prepares them to thrive, reach their goals, and give back to the community—rooted in our unique Shenandoah Valley heritage. A Fresh Perspective, Backed by Experience
Over the last year, Ashlyn has taken a deep dive into the world of Warren County Public Schools. She’s spent many hours reviewing past recordings of meetings to better understand the decisions and discussions shaping our schools. She has listened carefully and sees where the schools need to improve.
With ten years of experience in education, Ashlyn brings a practical understanding of classroom dynamics, student needs, and school operations. But more importantly, she brings a fresh set of eyes—ready to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and seek better outcomes for the students and families. If elected, Ashlyn will advocate for open, transparent communication and collaboration.
Ashlyn promises to be accessible, responsive, and a strong advocate for Warren County families. She will work hard to make Warren County Public Schools the best they can be—and she’ll do it without falling into the one-size-fits-all approaches we’ve seen in other districts. We don’t need to be the next Fairfax or Loudoun. We need to be the best version of Warren County.

Transparency & Accountability
Ashlyn will work with the School Board to ensure open, accessible communication, including regular updates for parents, teachers, and staff, so every voice is heard. She’ll scrutinize the budget process to maximize classroom resources, support vocational programs, and avoid wasteful spending—protecting taxpayer dollars for our children’s future, while leveraging our natural assets and local pride.
Supporting Our Teachers
Ashlyn will champion competitive salaries, mentorship programs, and adequate classroom supplies to attract and retain top teachers, ensuring they have opportunities to share feedback and feel valued—ending the unacceptable practice of teachers funding supplies out of pocket.
Raising Expectations
Our students can achieve greatness when held to high standards of behavior and academic excellence. She will enforce consistent disciplinary policies and proactive safety measures to create a respectful, secure environment where all students—whether pursuing academics or trades—can excel.
